The house that bloggers built

I am sure by now you have heard of the DIY blogger house in Daybreak built by some fabulous bloggers and designed by Brian Neal Clark.  Well yesterday I was able to see it and I LOVED it.  If you have the chance to go to the Parade of Homes this year make sure you visit this home – it will be worth it.
DIY Home Bloggers
I loved that the rooms were put together by bloggers and that the bloggers have been great sharing how they created the rooms they worked on.  Here is a video by the designer Brian Neal Clark – I was able to take an Interior Design class from Brian at Breathing Space and I love how he designs things.
Did you see that fabulous ceiling with MDF board?  I totally want to do that with my home.

The Parade of Homes opened Friday August 3rd (yesterday) and goes until August 18th.  On Wednesday before the home opened to the public I (along with a bunch of other bloggers) was invited to the home for a preview.
I was able to take home some of the home grown Honey from Daybreak (yup Daybreak has bee hives)

There were some delicious treats but my favorite treats were the Bee cookies made by Ashlee at I’m Topsy Turvy

It was a fun night and I took a lot of pictures of the home but my camera was messing up and they are mostly blurry.  I will be going back to the home later this week and will take some new pictures and will try to share them with all of you.

Have you been to any of the Parade of Homes homes yet?  I can’t wait to go through all of them.

    1. Ashlee you will have to let me know when the recipe is up - I love sugar cookies but am picky with what sugar cookies I like. I really liked the flavor and texture of yours so I can't wait for the recipe!
